Hyphal system monomitic, simple septate. Lamprocystidia thick walled, conical, encrusted. Septocystidia cylindrical, sometimes capitate, septate, encrusted. Edibility Inedible Notes Viewed with a low power microscope, or a hand lens, the surface appears crystalline, with numerous needle shaped projections
